Location
Lake Naivasha lies approximately 80 kilometres north-west of Nairobi, the country’s capital city. At close to 2,000m altitude, the days are warm and the evenings are cool, providing a great night’s sleep and a great day full of activities and leisure.
If you take the “old road”, now called the Mai Mahiu road (spectacular views of the escarpment!), from Nairobi to Naivasha, you will come to a junction, just before Naivasha town, that will turn into South Lake Road. Dea’s Gardens is exactly 2kms on the right from this turn off:
You will see a signboard that says "KIMWA". Slow down. This is followed by a big wall, and we are tucked in at the end of the wall. Be careful as you can easily miss us.
Our entrance is a little away from the road, you will see a red fence post and three red flower barrels, and our name "SCHUPBACH" is on the gate.
Go down the drive-way, and we are after the bend on your right.
